Instituto Pasteur is a private non-profit biomedical research organization and member of the International Pasteur network that links 33 global Pasteur Institutes. Instituto Pasteur Italia is committed to the study of basic regulatory mechanisms essential to the understanding and treatment of severe human pathologies, with a focus on virology and innate & adaptive immunity. The Institute numbers more than 50 principal and associated investigators and graduates more than 50 PhD students/ year. The Institute is affiliated with Sapienza University of Rome, the largest University in Europe, and is located adjacent to collaborators at Instituto Superiore di Sanita (Italian NIH) and the Policlinico Medical Centre.
